Moreton Chamber Choir have been invited to sing alongside other young people from across Shropshire at the ‘Children’s Voices Across Shropshire’ concert to be held at The Abbey, Shrewsbury on Friday 17th March 2023 at 6.30pm. The event is to raise funds for the Crane Counselling Charity who reach out to more young people in need of their professional service.
With emotional and mental health of young people at an all-time-high the monies raised from this event will enable the charity to offer a first appointment within seven to fourteen days of contact. It has recently been announced that His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire will be in attendance, along with the Mayor of Shrewsbury alongside other distinguished guests.
Director of Music, Helen Rayner said: “It promises to be a wonderful evening of music making in such a fabulous acoustic and backdrop. The Choir will be well primed after the Spring Soiree, so it only feels right to share our polished repertoire with a wider audience for such as great cause.”
