Welcome to Moreton Hall Summer School

Moreton Hall is delighted to announce that bookings are now open for our highly acclaimed Parent and Child and Bespoke Group Summer Courses for 2026.

With a history of welcoming international families since the 1950s, Moreton Hall offers a truly unforgettable summer experience. Set amidst 100 acres of stunning grounds and featuring outstanding facilities, our Summer Courses provide the perfect blend of learning, adventure, and lasting memories.

Staffed by Moreton Hall’s dedicated and experienced academic and pastoral team, our Summer Courses offer a vibrant and unique programme in the heart of picturesque Shropshire. Families and students are invited to embrace our ethos of ‘Embrace, Achieve, Enjoy’, experiencing the exceptional standards that earned Moreton Hall the accolade of being ‘an exemplar of all that a great boarding school can be’ (Lead Judge, TES Boarding School of the Year 2021).

Parent and Child Course

Our unique course offers parents and children the chance to experience life in a UK boarding school, improve their English, and enjoy a fun holiday. The programme includes a diverse range of activities, allowing both children and parents to participate together and individually, ensuring an enriching and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Information

Child age range: 3 – 13 years
Course runs: 5th July 2026 – 16th August 2026
Course duration: 1 – 6 weeks
All inclusive
No minimum level of English required
£2,595 per week
Includes one adult and one child

Bespoke Group Courses

Our bespoke course is designed for groups seeking a personalised and immersive experience. Tailored to meet the specific interests and goals of the group, this course offers a combination of academic enrichment, cultural exploration, and exciting activities.

Key Information

Age range: 10 – 15 years
Course runs: 5th July 2026 – 16th August 2026
Course duration: 1 – 6 weeks
Minimum group size: 12
All inclusive
No minimum level of English required
Starting from £1,250 per week

Activities and Trips

Our wide range of activities, included as part of all of our Summer Courses, provides pupils with the opportunity to develop their communicative English skills while forming lasting global friendships. In addition to these engaging activities, pupils can enjoy cultural enrichment through visits to iconic UK attractions during midweek and weekend trips, further immersing themselves in British culture.

Trips and Excursions
Cultural trips include visits to local heritage sites such as Powys Castle and Attingham Park, allowing pupils to explore the rich history of the region. Weekend excursions provide the chance to travel further afield, with trips to well-known destinations including Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare, and Manchester, offering a blend of cultural and historical experiences that enhance their time in the UK.

Social Events
Our school site remains vibrant with activities well into the evenings. From Cocktail Masterclasses to Treasure Hunts, there is a wide variety of engaging experiences, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
