Moreton Hall pupils regularly surpass their predicted academic outcomes to deliver outstanding GCSE and A Level results.

Moreton Hall is consistently ranked within the top 5% of UK independent schools for “Value Added,” as measured by Cambridge CIA Assessments (formerly known as CEM assessments). These standardised assessments evaluate a pupil’s academic aptitude and potential, providing invaluable insight into their individual strengths and learning profiles. A Level Results 2026

Students at Moreton Hall are celebrating following a record-breaking year of A Level results that builds on last year’s excellent figures. 56% of grades were awarded at A*–A, with 37% at A*, keeping the school well ahead of the national picture and continuing the strong ‘value added’ Moreton records against Cambridge University’s baseline predictions.

Principal Michael Brewer said: “Behind every one of these grades is a young woman who has worked with real determination, supported by families and staff who believe in her.

That is what Moreton is about: giving each girl the confidence and the space to find her own path, and providing the support needed for her to take it. We could not be prouder of this year group, and we wish them every success in the chapters ahead.”

GCSE Results 2026

Students at Moreton Hall are celebrating this week following an exceptional year of GCSE results. 18% of all grades were awarded at grade 9, the highest grade possible, which sits above the old A* and is achieved by only around 5% of entries nationally. Across the school, 57% of grades were awarded at 9–7, the equivalent of A* and A; this figure is up significantly from last year and more than 2.5x the national average of 22%.

Every Religious Studies candidate achieved grade 9, Spanish returned a full set of grades at 9–8, and both Drama and Food Preparation & Nutrition saw 100% of grades at 9–7.

In Level 2 Extended Maths, taken by the school’s strongest mathematicians alongside their GCSEs, every candidate achieved Distinction*, a grade that sits above even grade 9.
