The Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow’s World

Entrepreneurship is celebrated in Moreton Sixth with the school’s Sixth Form led in-house business, ‘Moreton Enterprises’. Each year, a new board of directors is appointed to take over the helm and make their own mark on an ever-evolving business. Students develop skills beyond the curriculum in teamwork, leadership, communication, risk-taking, planning and resilience.

The Enterprise Centre
A relaxing retail environment for students of all ages to chill and catch up with friends after a busy school day. The all-important Tuck Shop sells a range of chocolate, crisps and sweet treats. Boost makes, to order, a range of refreshing milkshakes, fruit smoothies and sells cold drinks and ice-creams. Elements stocks a range of stationery and essential toiletries. There is also a selection of Moreton Merchandise which includes: Moreton branded; puffer jackets and pyjamas together with Divisional sweatshirts, trackies, and Leavers’ hoodies.

Moreton Means Business Conference
Held every International Women’s Day, the MMB Conference invites business leaders to share advice on the realities of the business world through lectures and workshops.

Business Lunch
Moreton’s annual Business Lunch attracts business guests from across the region. Previous speakers include: Sir William Hague, Baron Hague of Richmond, Zanny Minton-Beddoes, Editor in Chief of The Economist, Sir Malcolm Walker, CBE, Founder and Executive Chair of Iceland Foods, and Xavier Rolet, former CEO of the London Stock Exchange, Sir Ian Cheshire, Chairman of Land Securities and Spire Healthcare.
