This year’s Home Internationals Series proved to be a truly memorable occasion for Moreton Hall, with record representation across the tournament. In total, eight current students and eight Old Moretonians were selected to play, alongside current staff member Miss Jones and Mrs Walsh in her role as Head Coach of the Wales Women’s side. Having 17 members of the Moreton family representing their country is a remarkable achievement and a real testament to the strength of the lacrosse programme at Moreton Hall.
The standout story of the tournament came from the Wales U20 side, who made history by defeating England and taking home the title for the first time ever. With eight Moretonians involved in that squad, it was an extraordinary achievement and one of which we are immensely proud. Moreton Hall students made their mark throughout the competition, with all eight players making important contributions. To crown an incredible tournament, Upper Fifth student Nina was named Most Valuable Player. We could not be prouder of this exceptional group of players.
