Moreton Hall is opening its gates for a Whole School Open Day on Saturday 19th September, welcoming families to explore everything the school has to offer, from Prep through to Senior School and Sixth Form. The event begins at 9.30am.
It is a chance to see Moreton as pupils experience it every day. Visitors can tour the 100-acre campus, watch teaching and co-curricular activities in action, and talk with staff, pupils and the admissions team about both day and boarding life at the school.
Set in the Shropshire countryside near Oswestry, Moreton pairs a broad academic curriculum with a co-curricular programme that runs across sport, music, drama and the outdoors. Pupils have the run of facilities including a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, an all-weather pitch, tennis courts, the Holroyd Community Theatre and Cornflower Farm, the school’s own smallholding. Sport is a real strength, with recent national honours in lacrosse and hockey.
“Open Day is a special day,” said Principal Michael Brewer. “There is no better way to understand Moreton than to walk the grounds, meet our pupils and staff, and see the school at its liveliest. We would be delighted to welcome you.”
Places can be booked at moretonhall.org/open-day.
