Moreton Hall pupils delivered a superb set of performances at the Chester Festival of Performing Arts, earning an impressive 11 first-place finishes across the Festival.
It was a remarkable showcase of talent, with a Moreton pupil placed in all but three of the classes entered. The breadth of achievement was equally striking, with winners spanning from Year 1 through to Year 11.
Among the standout successes, Renee secured first place in the verse speaking class for the third consecutive year, while Charlotte took first place in the Year 11 verse speaking class. Florence and Bonnie were awarded second place in the highly competitive Year 7 group scene class, achieving an outstanding mark of 90 or above. Katie also impressed, taking first place in the Year 8 and 9 Spiritual Reading class.
Throughout the Festival, Moreton pupils performed with confidence, character and resilience, reflecting both their individual dedication and the strength of the School’s performing arts provision.
The School is grateful to Sarah Pritchard, Kate Hodge and Maxine Jones for their support and encouragement across a long and successful day of competition.
