Upper Sixth student, Rebecca, has made history at Moreton by being the first to take part in this new competition, and in successfully advancing to the Open Question Round of the British Psychology Olympiad. The challenge aims to provide a platform for students worldwide to engage in high level psychology discussions, ignite their interest in the field, develop research and critical thinking abilities, as well as showcase their research and writing skills.
Rebecca achieved an outstanding performance in Round 1 in which she scored 16 out of 20, which was in the top 60% of entrants from around the world. When the rest of the school will be enjoying a well-deserved rest after the end of term, Rebecca will be preparing for the next round of the Olympiad: The Open Question Round, which is an opportunity for her to further showcase her knowledge and critical thinking skills in the field of Psychology.
