Moreton Hall are absolutely thrilled to share some fantastic news from the Alderley Edge Festival, where our talented musicians made a remarkable debut! This year marked the very first time our school has participated in this prestigious event, and our pupils certainly made their mark.
A huge congratulations to our wonderful Prep Junior Choir! Their performance in the Year 6 and under choir category was truly impressive, earning them a well-deserved third place. What a fantastic achievement for their first time competing at this festival– we are so proud of each and every member!
The individual successes continued further up the school. Isobelle in Lower Five demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication, securing third place in both the Senior String Recital and the String Solo Grades 6 and 7 categories. Her hard work and musicality truly shone through.
Adding to the accolades, we extend our warmest congratulations to Nia of Lower Sixth, who triumphed in the Senior String class! Nia’s winning performance is a testament to her skill and commitment to her instrument.
We are immensely proud of all the students who participated in the Alderley Edge Festival. Their achievements are a direct result of their passion for music and the considerable effort they put into preparing for the competition. These successes highlight the vibrant musical talent within our school community. Well done to everyone involved!
