Moreton Sixth

“Every girl in England should have at least a term in this environment.”

– Good Schools Guide
Sixth Form at Moreton Hall

Vibrant, welcoming and tailored to the individual needs of each student, Moreton Sixth is a thriving girls-only sixth form which aims to equip each student with all of the skills and qualifications they will need as young women in the world beyond school.

The school’s extensive A Level programme offers something for every aspiration and ability. Academically, the school boasts many alumnae at the country’s top universities, including Cambridge and Oxford, as well as the London Five and other Russell Group universities, with many girls bucking national trends to pursue STEM routes.

Many girls leave co-educational schools to take advantage of the many opportunities offered in Moreton Sixth. Academic societies enhance our teaching and unique programmes, such as our student-led business, Moreton Enterprises, and the Rylands Diploma, which teaches critical life skills and deepens our students’ understanding of the world and themselves.

Moreton Hall offers exceptional teaching, a wide range of activities and opportunities, a nurturing and caring environment and award-winning career guidance.

Moretonians leave us grounded and rounded, with a deep confidence in their abilities and place in the world. The combination of grit, curiosity, emotional strength, and lifelong friendships is the solid foundation on which they will build their lives.

Join Moreton Hall - The Admissions Journey

Moreton Sixth provides the all-important stepping-stone between school and university. Moreton Hall’s excellent results confirm our reputation as one of the country’s leading independent day and boarding schools. Our normal entry point to Moreton Sixth is into Lower 6 (Year 12), but students do join us at other times.

The best way to get a feel for the school, its students and its staff is to visit us. We encourage all families who have any potential interest in the school to meet Michael Brewer, the Principal, and to take a tour of the school with current students. Students are always welcome to come for a taster day (and night, if they wish) at a time that suits. To arrange a visit please email admissions@moretonhall.com.
