Senior School Scholarships

Moreton Hall scholarships celebrate and nurture exceptional talent. As our school values the importance of different fields equally, we offer scholarships in a broad range of subjects.

Scholarships are available to pupils at any entry point to senior school and can be worth up to a 20% reduction in fees which will remain in place throughout the student’s education at Moreton Hall. Pupils may apply for more than one scholarship, but usually no more than two.

Key Information

At 11+ and 12+, all candidates sit papers in mathematics and English and complete an online assessment.

At 13+ and 14+, all candidates sit papers in Mathematics, English and a subject of their choice, as well as the online assessment.

At the above entry points, Academic Scholarships are awarded based upon performance in these entrance examinations. The Head of your child’s current school or a parent should inform Moreton Hall that your child intends to apply for the Academic Scholarship prior to sitting the entrance exams.

In addition to sitting the academic entrance exams, candidates wishing to apply for Art, Music, Drama or Sport scholarships will be tested in their chosen field. Candidates will be asked to show evidence of their ability by portfolio for art and by audition and interview for Music, Sport and Drama.

Fee Assistance

Moreton Hall is committed to being as accessible as possible to pupils who would benefit from the opportunities available at the school. For those families who could not otherwise afford to meet the full costs of fees, we offer means-tested fee assistance, known as bursaries.
