Discover Moreton Hall Nursery

Moreton Hall Nursery is located within the beautiful grounds of Moreton Hall and offers a safe, caring, stimulating environment for young children from 6 months to 3 years old.

The nursery partners with parents to ensure that the first experience in their child’s education is a positive and happy one. We provide a nurturing environment in which your child feels comfortable to explore and develop at their own pace.

Within an atmosphere of warmth, mutual respect and encouragement, we endeavour to develop self-discipline and self-esteem in children, preparing them for the next step in their lives. Our focus is on making learning enjoyable from a very early age.

We offer a wide range of structured and unstructured activities to suit the needs of each child. Activities at Moreton Hall Nursery include: Gym Minis, Ballet, Swimming, Sing and Sign, Outdoor Education, Languages and Music. An informal programme is carefully developed to guarantee that each day contains variety and stimulation.

The nursery accommodates approximately 50 children in term time and school holidays, providing the right size for each child to be truly seen, heard and understood. The Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am – 6.00pm, with an optional breakfast club running from 7.30am – 8.00am (fees apply).

We welcome you to visit us to meet our staff, have a look at the beautiful facilities we enjoy at Moreton Hall Nursery and introduce your child to the outstanding opportunities for play and learning that we provide.

You can find out more about Moreton Hall Nursery in our prospectus. Should you have any questions or wish to book a visit, please don’t hesitate to contact Nicola Perry, Nursery Manager or Liz Farrow, Moreton Hall Admissions Officer, on 01691 776078 or firststeps@moretonhall.com.

Take Your First Steps at Moreton Hall

When your child starts at Moreton Hall Nursery we encourage you to stay, if you wish, and absorb the relaxed, family atmosphere your child will encounter within the setting. Groups are kept small and intimate, with a high ratio of staff to children maintained at all times to enable each child to receive outstanding care and attention.

We have a pre-visit system which is designed to help each child settle into the nursery environment. A few weeks before your child is due to start you will be invited to come along and meet your child’s Key Person. This provides the opportunity for you to share information about your child with their primary carer and allow your child some time to explore the environment while you are close by. A settling-in process is followed to meet the needs of each child.

Pre-Prep at Moreton Hall

Pre-Prep extends our excellent nursery provision for children at the age of 3 where outstanding learning opportunities continue to be our priority. Pre-Prep runs concurrently with Moreton Hall Prep’s term times. Holiday Club provides an extensive range of activities throughout the rest of the year (pre-booking is essential).
