Reaching Out to Our Community
FOSTERING PARTNERSHIPS WITH OUR WIDER COMMUNITY AND

x Creatively grow the use of The Holroyd Community Theatre, partnering
with local community groups to provide a space for everyone to access and
enjoy.
x Review fee assistance with the vision that no prospective family or pupil
sees finance as a barrier to coming to Moreton Hall and to attract the
brightest and best pupils to the school.
x Develop a 5-year marketing strategy, a new website with virtual tours
and inspirational imagery and focus on promoting our core values to attract
future Moretonians to the school from our local area, across the UK and
abroad.
x Provide dedicated support for exceptional local pupils to join the school
and further enhance our community.
x Build upon the current momentum of engaging with OMs by developing
new social networking events within Shropshire and beyond.
MEDIUM TERM (3-5 YEARS)
x Evolve deeper and fulfilling links with local prep, primary and senior schools
to the mutual benefit of all and publish a partnerships document.
x Draw together and further develop our community outreach programme so
Moreton pupils and staff are able to be fully involved with the local area
through volunteer opportunities.
x Create as sustainable a school as possible, engaging with the environment
by reducing single use plastics, reflecting our rural setting and maintaining
Eco School Green Flag recognition.
LONG TERM (5+ YEARS)
x Build on the success of Moreton Connect and Bridging the Gap, develop
new social networking events and maintain the tradition of OMs sending
their children and grandchildren to Moreton.
x Draw together our entrepreneurial activities under the Moreton Means
Business umbrella and consider how best to remain innovative in
TM
this area.
x Seek opportunities for national and international recognition of our
ongoing excellence via awards and events.
