DELIVERING AN INSPIRING AND BESPOKE ALL-ROUND

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY CHILD IN OUR CARE

SHORT TERM (1-3 YEARS)
x Roll out our whole-school ICT strategy to provide cutting edge
infrastructure, data security and the growth of digital literacy across
the school.
x Complete a curriculum review, including Saturday provision, listening to our
pupils to balance curriculum breadth and depth, develop cultural literacy,
further explore equality and best prepare Moretonians to take the next step in
their lives.
x Further develop academic tracking, integrated EAL and early intervention
Learning Support within and across departments to ensure our value-
added remains high and pupils achieve the very best results.
x Create a Sports Performance Centre programme to attract and develop
talented young athletes in sports such as Lacrosse, Hockey, Tennis and Golf.
x Reinvent Moreton Enterprises to develop and recognise the business
acumen and knowledge which this unique programme develops and grow
links with local businesses.

MEDIUM TERM (3-5 YEARS)

x Extend the teaching of Computing, Product Design and Music Technology
and Production to reflect our excellence in STEM and the Creative and
Digital Arts.
x Grow our culture of independent learning, including greater uptake of the
EPQ in the Sixth Form (providing similar opportunities for younger children)
and develop aspirational programmes of support where pupils excel in
particular areas.
x Develop an inclusive exercise and activity pathway starting in Moreton First and
leading all the way to Upper Sixth and beyond.
x Launch a Literary Festival to inculcate a culture of reading and support
continuous improvement in pupil literacy.

LONG TERM (5+ YEARS)

x Position Moreton First as one of the top 10 small independent prep schools
in the country, growing to a community of over 100 children and providing
an enriching and dynamic education inside and outside the classroom.
x Continue to seek new ways to provide and promote extracurricular
opportunities of an extraordinary range and quality to build confidence
and resilience.
x Offer educational networking and professional development events to
place Moreton as a hub for teaching and learning excellence in the area.
