Times Have Always
Been Changing,
and the Future Is
in Safe Hands
It is often said that we live in
changing times—and we do. But
we always have. As we come to the
close of the school year, our leavers
prepare to depart from their home
here at Moreton, and from their
family homes, in pursuit of higher
education, employment, or further
adventure. Thoughts turn to how
much is about to change, and change
can be notoriously unsettling.
When we feel that we don’t know what is
coming next, it is only natural to experience
a certain nervousness. We can embrace that
feeling, though, and take reassurance from
the wise words of Marie Curie:
“Nothing in life is to be feared, it
is only to be understood. Now is
the time to understand more, so
